One of the most difficult tasks for a person who has no single idea about computers is getting a new one with no help.
Yes! Buying a new computer is not easy unless you have some basic knowledge about what a processor is and what it is for, or what RAM is, or what HDD is...
In this post I'm going to sum up a bit what should we take into account when getting a new computer:
1# We must ask ourselves: What will I use it for? Depending on our usage, the specifications we need will be different.
If you are going to use your computer just for checking emails out, random youtubeing, or facebook, then... GET THE CHEAPEST ONE. Internet navigation has no special requirements, you can navigate perfectly fine in a 10 years old computer with Windows XP. Therefore, all the new computers that are in the market will suit you perfectly for Internet.
However, if you are willing to work with it, use specific software such as Ms Office, or any other software you may use at work, I recommend you to get at least a Dual Core or Inter i3. Concerning RAM memory, 4GB is enough, and concerning HDD, that depends on the information you are going to keep on it, but it is always recommended to have 500GB or 1TB. You will not need a good graphic card for this kind of usage, so the motherboard one will be perfectly fine. But if you do want to have a graphic card just "to have it", a 1GB DDR3 one will be enough.
If you are going to PLAY games with it... then... we are talking about something BIG. Depending on the kind of games you are going to play, you can be very happy with an Intel i5 for gaming. 8GB of RAM memory minimum, but it is highly recommended to have 16GB or even 32GB. You hard drive must be 1TB at least if you are going to install several games, and the graphic card must be DDR5, not DDR3; 2GB recommended, but 1GB can work very well too.
Intel i7 are normally used for those who render 3D at work, it is too powerful we might say. If you want to have a super pro computer, then get a SDD Hard Drive to improve reading and writing speed.
You still are not sure about what computer you should get? Then contact me and I will give you my personal advice :D
